Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Annual passing of a DOT-regulated medical exam
• Good driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation
• At least 21 years old
• Chauffer's license may be required in some states

Preferred Experience/Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service experience
• Delivery driver experience

Responsibilities

1. Deliver orders to customers while providing excellent service
2. Act as a brand ambassador by explaining Kroger's Seamless Experience and delivery process
3. Maintain professionalism and personal presentation during customer interactions
4. Drive safely, adhering to Kroger's driving standards
5. Ensure timely and intact delivery of orders, resolving issues as needed
6. Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and issues
7. Keep accurate records of deliveries
8. Assist fellow drivers when necessary
9. Monitor and record temperatures to ensure food safety compliance
10. Handle products safely, report breakages or contamination
11. Perform pre-inspection of vehicles and report defects
12. Operate technology devices for mapping and customer interactions
13. Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
