Job summary

Schwan’s Company is seeking a warehouse associate to handle movement of semi-trailers, unload goods, and manage inventory using SAP and RF equipment. A forklift license and Class A CDL are required or pursued within the stated timeframe.

The role involves operating trucks and forklifts, maintaining safety, and supporting loading/unloading at multiple plants. Starting pay is competitive, with regular shifts Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of related experience.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Forklift operator's license and valid Class A motor vehicle license or willingness to obtain within management timeframe.
• Ability to operate single and tandem axle trucks, forklift and pallet mover.
• Ability to operate battery charger, pallet wrapper, computer, fax machine, telephone system, plastic wrap and baler.
• Take and pass all CDL physicals and drug/alcohol tests, including random testing.
• Adhere to general safety policies and procedures per OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Move semi-trailers to warehouse areas per building needs.
• Unload ingredients or supplies from trucks at receiving docks using a forklift.
• Maintain inventory and notify supervisor when materials need reordering.
• Provide packaging and supplies to plants to ensure uninterrupted filling lines using SAP and FIFO.
• Operate company vehicles to deliver products or pick up supplies as directed.
• Perform light maintenance on forklifts and trucks and complete daily equipment checks.
• Keep trucks, trailers, and forklifts clean and service as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
