CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Financial Analyst to support accurate reporting, analysis, and forecasting for the Dedicated division. You will partner with your leader to analyze results, explain variances, and help with planning activities in a hands-on finance role.

This onsite role requires 3-5 years in finance, strong Excel, SQL and Power BI skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial partners.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a finance and analytical related type role.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, accrual accounting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and explain results clearly.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial reporting tools, SQL & Power BI.
• Ability to explain financial information to non-financial partners.
• Office environment with standard duties and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile, understand, and confirm financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity of company financial information and support the monthly close process.
• Analyze monthly sales, cost, and profit variances versus forecast and plan and explain key drivers to leadership.
• Provide financial and analytical support to leaders, translating data into clear and actionable insights.
• Assist in the preparation of annual plans and updated forecasts as required.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial reports to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Build knowledge of business operations, financial drivers, and performance metrics within the assigned business unit.
• Present financial findings primarily to the direct leader, supporting broader leadership discussions as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned.
