Job summary

Hut 8 Corp. is seeking a Logistics & Expediting Manager to own inbound logistics, freight, and delivery scheduling for major data center equipment. Ensure critical-path items arrive on time, with no surprises, including transformers, switchgear, generators, and chillers.

Responsibilities include planning heavy-haul routes, permits, escorts, coordinating with vendors, tracking factory milestones, FAT scheduling, and ship-date protection. Travel 25–40%. This role is based at our Miami HQ.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project logistics, traffic, or expediting for major capital projects (data centers, heavy industrial).
• Hands-on heavy-haul experience: permits, routing studies, escorts, rigging interfaces for loads in 100k–500k+ lb class.
• Vendor expediting depth: factory milestone tracking, FAT logistics, and holding OEMs accountable to ship dates.
• Freight terms, cargo insurance, and claims knowledge.
• Customs/import experience for international equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound logistics plan for major equipment: transformers, MV/LV switchgear, generators, chillers, CDUs, UPS systems.
• Plan heavy-haul routing, permits, escorts, and site delivery windows aligned to crane schedules.
• Run expediting on critical-path POs; track factory milestones and coordinate FAT scheduling.
• Select and manage freight forwarders and carriers; manage freight terms, insurance, and OS&D; handle customs when needed.
• Report logistics status and risks; build Hut 8's logistics playbook for future POs.
