Job summary

PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, Mississippi is seeking a Logistics Engineer to develop and manage material flow, PFEP plans, and supplier coordination across our engine programs. This role emphasizes continuous improvement, JIT/JIS inventories, and cross-functional collaboration with design and production teams.

The candidate will apply Six-Sigma and Kaizen methodologies to optimize processes, analyze data, and drive cost reductions while coordinating capital budgets and packaging activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Materials analytics or logistics manufacturing engineering experience required.
• Understanding of JIT and JIS inventory practices.
• Six-Sigma, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement concepts required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products specially Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
