Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Logistics Engineer in Griffin, GA to lead design and optimization of logistics processes, drive automation initiatives, and improve safety and efficiency across material flow and warehouse operations.

You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to implement scalable logistics solutions, apply data-driven decisions, and develop standards to support growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to take personal responsibility for assignments, decisions and results, focusing on high-impact activities.
• Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools and processes to reach conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute logistics engineering projects to improve safety, capacity, productivity and automation.
• Design, analyze, and optimize material flow, storage strategies, and transportation methods.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement to reduce waste and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, quality, and safety teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Use data analytics and performance metrics to evaluate logistics operations and identify trends.
