J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Engineer III to apply problem-solving and quantitative methods to deliver engineering solutions across the organization.

You will coordinate with internal and external customers to understand project parameters and to drive process improvements that reduce cost and boost productivity. The role requires strong data analysis, familiarity with visualization, statistics, and operations research, and the ability to tailor technical information for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field AND
• Demonstration of the following Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, and/or SQL

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the position is responsible for utilizing problem solving and quantitative methods to provide engineering solutions in various areas of the organization. The incumbent will coordinate with internal and external customers to understand the parameters of projects.

Compensation: Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
