Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mathematics, statistics, information management, or related field, plus 5 years in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, SQL, and/or cloud-based analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex historical datasets to support development of maintenance labor assumptions, productivity benchmarks, and performance metrics.
• Incorporate automation and AI-enabled analytics approaches to improve efficiency and speed of maintenance analysis.
• Build cost-benefit and scenario models for maintenance facility planning, capacity analysis, and network optimization.
• Analyze equipment domiciles, service demand, and travel requirements to evaluate total cost and service coverage tradeoffs.
• Prepare data-backed comparisons under varying operational assumptions to facilitate strategic evaluations.
• Identify and develop solutions to improve labor productivity, repair variability, and asset performance; perform root cause and diagnostic analysis.
• Lead collaborations with cross-functional teams to implement analytical changes in reporting tools and systems.
• Translate stakeholder needs into optimal solutions and tailor communication of technical information for leaders.
• Lead and/or support projects to accomplish business goals; train and mentor junior team members.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Senior Logistics Engineer is responsible for applying quantitative methods and engineering techniques to solve complex maintenance productivity, asset reliability, and cost performance problems while adding value to the organization. This role partners with internal teams to understand the parameters of high-impact maintenance initiatives, translating requirements into optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex historical datasets to support the development and refinement of maintenance labor assumptions, productivity benchmarks, and performance metrics
• Incorporate automation and AI-enabled analytics approaches to improve efficiency and speed of maintenance analysis where possible
• Build and maintain cost-benefit and scenario models to support maintenance facility planning, capacity analysis, and network optimization efforts
• Analyze equipment domiciles, service demand, and travel requirements to evaluate total cost and service coverage tradeoffs
• Facilitate strategic evaluations by preparing data-backed comparisons under varying operational assumptions
• Identify and develop solutions to improve labor productivity, repair variability, and asset performance using technical and quantitative methods; perform root cause and diagnostic analysis to explain performance variation and identify actionable improvement opportunities
• Lead collaborations with cross-functional teams to create and implement solutions, ensuring analytical changes are accurately implemented in reporting tools and operational systems
• Connect with internal teams to understand stakeholder needs
• Interpret business issues and requirements to provide optimal solutions
• Tailor communication of technical information to audiences, translating data into business-focused conclusions for leaders
• Apply in-depth knowledge of business processes and experience to create or improve solutions
• Lead and/or support projects to accomplish business goals
• Train, mentor, coach, and onboard junior team members

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field
• AND Demonstration of the following
• Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, SQL, and/or cloud-based analytics platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting maintenance, reliability, or asset-intensive operations
• Exposure to automation, AI-assisted analytics, or advanced statistical methods
• Background in continuous improvement or operational analysis

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education,experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may beeligible forannual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of theCompany’s bonusand incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
