Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor production plans in SAP with Planning and Production teams.
• Detect and measure process improvements using SAP, EASY WMS and Excel.
• Maintain accuracy of finished and semi-finished goods in inventory with Easy WMS.
• Support sales-related processes using SAP to manage orders and deliveries.
• Manage warehouse and ERP systems, including Easy WMS and SAP integration.
• Maintain supplier relationships through clear communication.
• Organizational, fast-learning, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.

Job description

We are looking for a qualified Logistics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Melrose Park, IL.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling, reviewing, following, and controlling production plans using SAP, conferring heavily with Planning and Production departments.
• Detecting and measuring industrial or logistics processes that can be improved utilizing SAP, EASY WMS, and Excel software;
• Maintaining and guaranteeing accuracy of finished and semi-finished goods for inventory utilizing Easy WMS software;
• Providing cross-functional support in all stages of sales related to products and inventory levels by utilizing SAP heavily to analyze and improve processes, manage sales and production orders, and transportation orders and deliveries;
• Managing and controlling company systems, including the warehouse management system (EASY WMS) and the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system;
• Managing relationships with suppliers by consistently communicating the following;
• Ability to work in a factory environment.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Personality: Candidates should be organized and methodical in their work, with a strong ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to change. They must be capable of maintaining a high level of dedication when facing challenging tasks. Strong interpersonal skills are required, along with the confidence to interact and communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization, and the ability to work under pressure.
