Job summary

nVent is seeking a Logistics Driver/Warehouse Employee to move inventory between local vendors and customers and perform general warehouse duties when not on the road.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, accurate paperwork verification, and maintaining safety and 5S standards in a dynamic global operation. You will contribute to a secure world by ensuring reliable delivery and warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver's license and DOT Health Card.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience driving company vehicles and working in a warehouse is preferred.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook; JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work with supervision and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts, materials and supplies to local destinations using a company vehicle.
• Load and unload the vehicle and verify paperwork for accuracy.
• Drive safely and maintain required vehicle documentation.
• Assist in pulling warehouse orders and maintain 5S standards.
• Perform work to quality and safety standards.
• Communicate barriers to Lead or Supervisor.
