Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, or Supply Chain, or GED with 1 year of related experience.
• Willingness to travel to account, customer and company events.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate regionally depending on account.
• Experience in management, transportation or logistics is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and outside carriers.
• Fill in for absences and work on projects to optimize fleet operations.
• Train drivers and employees on internal and customer systems.
• Analyze KPI data and present customer reporting and financial analysis.
• Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment.
• Handle payroll, budgets, driver counseling, invoicing and reports.
• Oversee yard operations, maintenance coordination and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with drivers, customers and staff to resolve issues.
• Support safety culture with messages and trainings.
