Job summary

HMSHost is hiring a Runner With Driving in Louisville, KY. This role handles physical and clerical tasks for shipments, verifies records, and ensures accurate packaging and labeling. You’ll unload and stock goods, manage inventory, and coordinate with transport teams to move items to stores.

The position is non-exempt and reports to the Warehouse Manager or General Manager, depending on local requirements, with opportunities for skill growth and on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions and policy documents.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and drive a truck when required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and distribute merchandise and supplies to stores.
• Verify shipping records and proper packaging/labeling.
• Stock shipments and pull daily orders per requisitions.
• Utilize inventory systems to track items and maintain accuracy.
• Transport orders between warehouse and stores as needed.
• Follow security, safety procedures and HACCP guidelines.
