Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport materials and equipment, ensuring proper loading, securing, and timely delivery in a safe manner. You will complete and process paperwork while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle and adhering to government regulations.

This non-exempt role reports to the Warehouse or General Manager and requires at least 1 year of driving experience, a valid license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly manner.
• Able to read and understand instructions and policy documents.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to delivery schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
• Process tickets according to company standards.
• Stock shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and process daily orders from requisitions.
• Use computer systems to manage warehouse inventory.
• Assist in transportation between warehouse and stores and with vendor trucks.
• Identify damaged or expired products.
• Rotate products based on codes and dates.
• Follow all security and safety procedures.
