Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Driver Helper to support daily delivery operations. You will assist the driver, load and unload freight, scan items, and ensure safe, on-time delivery while following established procedures.

This role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, strong communication, and the ability to work a Monday–Friday 4x10 schedule with occasional overtime. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read maps and maintain geographic awareness.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules when required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Accurately load and secure freight for daily delivery routes.
• Scan and verify all route freight before departure.
• Assist drivers with route navigation and delivery coordination.
• Help transport freight to customer business and residential locations.
• Pull, stage, load, and unload freight using manifests and established operating procedures.
• Perform material-handling duties, including picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and inventory counts.
• Identify and report OS&D.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment when trained and authorized.
• Follow detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance with safety requirements and customer site rules.
• Provide professional customer service and perform additional duties as assigned.
