Job summary

Manna Food Center in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a Logistics Driver to ensure the safe, timely transportation of food donations and related goods. This role supports both pickups and distributions and assists with warehouse tasks under the Senior Manager of Logistics.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and a willingness to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Spanish/English fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a Maryland DOT medical card.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow the driving schedule assigned by the Senior Manager of Logistics.
• Perform warehousing-related duties as needed to support logistics operations.
• Lead on-site during food distributions, directing volunteers and staff.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Assist with loading/unloading using pallet jacks and maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations during events and distributions.
