Overview

Location: Circle Pines, MN (100% Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000

About the Role: A growing manufacturing and industrial products company is seeking a detail‑driven Order Fulfillment & Logistics Specialist to manage the end-to-end order lifecycle, including order entry, inventory coordination, freight management, and customer communication. This role is central to operations and requires strong ERP skills, problem‑solving abilities, and experience supporting B2B customers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management & Customer Support: Enter and process customer orders accurately in ERP and CRM systems.
  • Serve as the primary contact for sales reps, distributors, and customers.
  • Provide order status updates, lead times, backorder details, and shipment tracking.
  • Verify pricing, discounts, terms, and required documentation.
  • Prepare quick‑turn quotes for add‑on or small‑volume orders.
  • Inventory & Production Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and allocate stock to open orders.
  • Identify shortages and communicate risks to operations, planning, and sales.
  • Review backorders, production timelines, and material availability.
  • Support forecasting through analysis of historical orders and open order reports.
  • Freight & Logistics Management: Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers and freight partners.
  • Review freight quotes to optimize cost, service level, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare international documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, USMCA forms).
  • Troubleshoot freight delays, damages, and claims.
  • Partner with shipping/warehouse teams on pickups, packaging standards, and scheduling.
  • Trade Show & Sample Support: Manage urgent and time‑sensitive sample shipments and trade show logistics.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure accuracy and on‑time delivery.
  • Process Improvement & Systems Support: Use ERP/CRM tools to generate order reports and track fulfillment metrics.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
  • Support ERP/CRM data integrity and system enhancement projects.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in business, marketing, accounting, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in order management, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial B2B environments.
  • ERP experience required (Microsoft Dynamics GP or equivalent).
  • CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) preferred.
  • Experience with freight logistics, LTL/FTL, international shipping, and documentation is a plus.
