BBSI West Valley is seeking a dependable Transportation Coordinator for our Salt Lake City, Utah distribution center. This role combines yard truck operations with transportation coordination to move trailers, schedule routes, and ensure accurate outbound loads.

Ideal candidates will have strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in logistics environments. This is a temp-to-hire position with growth opportunities and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a non-CDL yard truck to move trailers and hook trailer sets.
• Plan delivery routes and schedule multi-stop deliveries.
• Coordinate transportation activities for efficient daily operations.
• Verify outbound loads include all items and cross-dock shipments.
• Communicate with retail locations and customers to meet transportation needs.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Support transportation operations during peak seasonal demand.
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
