Job summary

Triple-S Steel Supply in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to schedule and direct drivers, manage daily routes, and ensure DOT compliance. The role requires 2–4 years fleet dispatch experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years fleet dispatch experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and routing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with sales/customers to determine driver’s needs and schedules and notifies drivers of assignments; enters assignment data in computer database.
• Monitors daily safety issues and maintenance.
• Daily routing and route compliance with deliveries and pickups.
• Monitors DOT compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Set up and coordinates all hot shots and maintains fleet maintenance files.
