Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Dispatcher II to oversee local freight pickups and deliveries, and to coordinate shipment information between drivers and delivery agents. You may work flexible start times and occasional weekend hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include routing, data entry into MyAIT & AS400, and delivering excellent customer service while supporting teams across the dock and field operations. Strong mapping skills and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in freight forwarding or customer service/operations preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AS400 experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Route local freight and dispatch drivers; coordinate with dock staff.
• Enter shipment milestones into MyAIT and AS400 with proof of delivery.
• Provide customer service and address inquiries/concerns.
• Assign driver load planning based on maps and appointments.
• Prioritize rushed/urgent/last-minute shipments.
• Other duties as business demands.
