Job Title: Logistics Dispatcher

We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to join our fast-paced team as a Logistics Dispatcher. The ideal candidate excels in team settings, can multi-task with ease, and solves problems autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dispatch intermodal trucks for local and over-the-road assignments, ensuring timely deliveries.
2. Maintain regular communication with drivers, providing guidance and support.
3. Liaise with the Port of Oakland Terminals to facilitate information flow and resolve issues.
4. Monitor import/export container statuses via port websites and call centers.
5. Track shipments, update statuses, and enter details into proprietary systems.
6. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, maintaining high satisfaction.
7. Coordinate shipment statuses and appointments through port and terminal systems.
8. Handle general office duties and administrative tasks as needed.
9. Be available for after-hours and weekend duties to ensure continuous operations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in the logistics industry, specifically 4+ years in Drayage and/or LTL.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations is a plus.
• Experience with PortPro and/or CMS is beneficial.
• Positive, empathetic, and professional approach to customer interactions.
