Qualifications

• 2–3 years of management experience preferred.
• 2–3 years of logistics experience preferred.
• Must have dependable vehicle to perform duties.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily dispatch and interface of assigned drivers.
• Recruit, interview, train, and coach drivers and staff.
• Oversees routing, sorting, loading, and unloading of freight.
• Delivering and picking up packages daily.
• Create and updates driver notes to ensure delivery data accuracy.
• Drive consistent operational performance focusing on service and cost.
• Monitor mis deliveries and develop avoidance strategies.
• Lead and manage hourly personnel and contractors.
• Forecast workload 2–3 days out.
• Maintain staffing to support operations based on freight volumes.
