Job summary

TopHAT Logistical Solutions, a division of Atlas Logistics, handles broad US-Canada final mile delivery with a dedicated focus on reliability and white-glove service. The Dispatch Associate II supports high-volume operations, reports to the Location Manager, and ensures timely, accurate shipment updates and customer notifications.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, strong communication, and relationship-building with customers and staff to drive continuous improvement in delivery performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-8 years’ related experience are required.
• Must have strong problem-solving, oral and written communication skills.
• Logistics/In-Home Delivery experience preferred; DOT knowledge a plus.
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with staff, customers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching 5+ in-home delivery teams across multiple stops.
• Initiate follow-up calls with customers to coordinate deliveries.
• Accurately update shipment status and input data into client reports.
• Notify customers of delays and in-window delivery times.
• Foster clear communication with customers, clients and staff to improve operations.
• Other duties as assigned by Location Manager.

The Dispatch Associate helps to manage the success of our operation in a high-volume home delivery environment. Due to the unique challenges of the industry, it is essential that applicants possess the skills necessary for success in performance-based environments that focus on client service, urgency, and continuous improvement. The Dispatch Associate II reports directly to the Location Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatching 5+ in home delivery teams through multiple stops.
• Initiating call behinds with customers.
• Accurately manage shipment updates, including customer notification and data entry into client reporting system.
• Reporting delivery delays / in window times to customers.
• Building relationships and establish effective communication with customers, clients, and staff to ensure continued and expanding operating improvements.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Employment Type & Hours

• Full-time position that will consist of 40 hours per week.
• Hours are 1000am to 630pm, Tuesday - Saturday
• Possible overtime during peak season

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• 5-8 years' job-related experience and/or a combination of both education and experience are required.

• Experience in Logistics/In-Home Delivery/Electrical preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and other outside organizations.
