Aston Carter is hiring a Logistics Data Entry Specialist for a contract role in Jacksonville, FL. You will enter, validate, and submit cargo and shipping information across internal systems and government portals, focusing on large spreadsheets and Excel reconciliation.

Ideal candidates have strong data-entry speed, Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs and formulas), and meticulous attention to detail to support compliance and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Accurate data entry with speed and precision.
• Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and basic formulas.
• Experience handling large spreadsheets and repetitive data sets.
• Detail-oriented and able to verify data against documents.
• Strong communication with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Enter, review, and reconcile vessel and cargo data using Excel and internal systems.
• Use Excel functions to compare manifests and verify data accuracy.
• Submit cargo manifests to CBP and other government portals.
• Identify and correct data discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready shipment documentation and records.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy KPIs while ensuring data quality.
