Job summary

Syfan Logistics is seeking an Order Entry Specialist to join its professional office in Gainesville. You will create orders and shipments in the LMS using customer load information and coordinate with Routing and Dispatch to ensure drivers have accurate data.

You will verify pickup/delivery details via calls, emails, or websites, update customers and carriers with changes, and support Customer and Carrier Sales with related tasks while meeting productivity goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working in teams to accomplish goals and assignments.
• Logistics/transportation knowledge and procedures preferred.
• Customer service experience in a professional business environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Creates orders and shipments in the LMS using customer load information.
• Obtains pickups and delivery appointments via phone, email, or websites.
• Reschedules delivery and pickup appointments when needed.
• Verifies emails containing customer information changes.
• Ensures LMS data matches customer websites.
• Assists Customer and Carrier Sales with related tasks.
• Meets productivity goals and supports routing, dispatch, and traffic duties.
• Builds relationships with shipping and receiving locations.
