Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is hiring a Logistics Customer Service Supervisor in the United States. You will support daily activities of Customer Service Representatives in the warehouse operation, handling inquiries, order entry, and service issues with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service, 1+ year lead experience, and proficiency with a WMS (Blue Yonder/SAP). Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, or logistics environment.
  • 1+ year of lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) such as Blue Yonder, SAP, or similar system preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of Customer Service Representatives to ensure timely, accurate, and professional service.
  • Assist with daily workflow, task assignments, and follow-up to help meet service-level expectations.
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer inquiries, order issues, service concerns, and problem resolution.
  • Support the order entry process by ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with customer and operational requirements.
  • Communicate with warehouse operations, transportation, inventory control, and carrier partners to help resolve delays or exceptions.
  • Monitor daily activity, reports, and performance trends to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure customer records, documentation, and reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for service or operational issues.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members on customer service processes, systems, and expectations.
  • Support 5S practices, process efficiency, and continuous improvement within Customer Service.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team environment where associates feel supported and valued.
  • Provide cross-functional support to other departments as needed.

As a Logistics Customer Service Supervisor at Kuehne+Nagel, you will support the daily activities of Customer Service Representatives within the warehouse operation. You will help ensure customer inquiries, order entry, service issues, and operational follow-up are handled accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner.

This role serves as a key point of contact for the team, internal departments, and customers, helping resolve day-to-day service concerns while supporting process improvement, accuracy, and a positive customer experience.

How you create impact

What we would like you to bring
