Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service/Shipping Clerk on 1st shift at our Mayville, WI facility.

This role reports to the Shipping and Receiving Manager and is responsible for maintaining and verifying outbound shipment records, preparing bills of lading, and generating related reports. You should have strong customer service experience and be meticulous with data entry, SAP proficiency, and coordination with carriers to ensure accurate and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills and excellent coordination skills.
• Customer Service experience is preferred.
• Great organizational and time management abilities.
• Stress tolerance with clean and neat attitude.
• Ability to carry out data entry work.
• Basic computer knowledge, SAP experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit orders and shipping quantities against picking documents.
• Enter and maintain shipping data in SAP and ERP systems.
• Prepare bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with carriers and arrange pick-ups.
• Answer/route calls and route messages promptly.
• Support special projects as directed by leadership.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping paperwork per SOPs.
