Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Receiving Clerk at the West Bend plant to process inbound materials against purchase orders, verify receipt quantities, and move items between locations. Shifts run Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., with overtime possible. You will use the SAP ERP system and work under the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. Ideal candidates demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to multitask while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced

Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate with other departments.
Aptitude to take orders and execute them efficiently.
Detail orientation, self motivation, and ability to multi-task.
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.

Responsibilities

Following FIFO instructions on all products.
Loads, unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
Conveys materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using forklift, hand truck, electric dolly or other device.
Will operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Required to fill out a daily inspection before starting up the forklift.
Assists with routine or general housekeeping tasks as they relate to the plants 6s plan.
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
Use of ERP computer system (SAP) for inbound processing of materials.
Other duties as assigned.
