Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in SeaTac, WA is seeking a motivated Customer Service Agent to be the primary contact for clients, manage cargo shipments, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish. The full-time role in SeaTac, WA offers pay of $21-24/hr DOE, with a Sunday-Thursday, 7am-3:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in logistics, air freight, or export is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
Eligible to pass TSA background check.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word; basic computer skills.
Strong geographic knowledge for determining efficient freight routes.
Excellent customer service and vendor relations skills, both over the phone and in-person.

Responsibilities

Manage customer interactions and maintain accurate documentation to ensure smooth cargo movement.
Quote, book, and track domestic and international shipments.
Collaborate with warehouse and other departments to handle shipments efficiently.
Assist the sales team in resolving customer issues, identifying opportunities, and supporting retention efforts.
Assign and delegate tasks to maximize team productivity and departmental efficiency.
Maintain a high level of organization, time management, and problem-solving.
Work independently or as part of a team as needed.
