Job summary

Jobtailor in Texas is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the customer service department, train CSRs in daily operations, and develop strong client relationships.

You will ensure accurate data capture and system entry, use data and problem-solving to resolve issues with vendors, and identify opportunities to improve customer processes; support teams located at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years in transportation/supply chain management in a 3PL environment.
• At least 2 years of successful management experience in logistics, customer service or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients tactfully and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the customer service department.
• Train CSRs in daily operations for the customer service group.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Ensure accurate data capture and system entry.
• Utilize data and problem-solving skills to resolve internal and vendor issues.
• Look for customer process improvement opportunities.
• Support teams located at customer sites.
