Job summary

Kreher Family Farms in New York state is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to help ensure a smooth flow of products from supplier to customer. You will coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, schedule deliveries, and track shipments to meet on-time targets.

You will prepare shipping documents, verify orders, and collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Packaging, and Carriers. The role requires strong data entry and Excel skills and the ability to work across teams in a farm logistics

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; degree in related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination.
Experience with ERP, inventory, or transportation management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling and shipment tracking.
Verify shipments and communicate load information to teams and carriers.
Prepare and maintain shipping/receiving documents (BOLs, labels, records).
Manage customer orders: verify accuracy, process corrections, monitor status.
Support production planning and regulatory compliance with run sheets and QA docs.
Track packaging movement and inventory with ERP systems and Ovotrack.
Collaborate with production, warehouse, QA, customer service, and carriers to resolve issues.
Provide backup coverage for other critical logistics functions as needed.
