Job summary

RIMOWA GmbH in New York is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transportation, warehouse, and inventory operations. You will coordinate shipments from warehouses to customers and retail locations, while collaborating with carriers, 3PLs, and finance teams to optimize delivery performance.

You will work closely with Retail, E-commerce, and Customer Service teams to monitor orders, track shipments, and resolve issues.

Qualifications

3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing or related field.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational, communication, and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ERP, WMS, or transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily shipments from warehouses to customers and retail locations.
Schedule and monitor FTL, LTL, parcel, and courier shipments.
Track shipments and communicate delivery updates.
Review open orders and identify potential delays.
Obtain shipment status updates and proof of delivery documents.
Assist with transportation issues including delays, shortages, damages, and refused shipments; maintain shipping documentation and records.
Support expedited and special shipment requests.
Maintain inventory records and transaction documentation.
Prepare routine logistics and inventory reports.
Assist with data entry and reconciliation activities.
Work with Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
Assist with freight claims and supporting documentation.
Maintain records for audits and operational reviews.
