Job summary

Sloan Valve Company, located in Andover, MA, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage receiving, shipping, and inventory maintenance. The role partners with the Materials Manager to ensure accurate SAP transactions and efficient distribution of parts and finished goods.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience in shipping/receiving or warehousing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP is preferred; a hybrid/onsite work arrangement may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in Shipping/Receiving or Warehouse environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of material management including cycle counting, POs, FIFO, and shipping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pickups and deliveries.
• Transact approved parts to stockroom location in SAP and move to stocking location.
• Ship finished goods and items, including international shipments; prepare bills of lading and SAP transactions.
• Process SAP transactions daily for production, receiving and shipping.
• Perform cycle count and generate physical inventory reports; research discrepancies.
