Job summary

Siemens in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a logistics/ procurement professional to perform semi-complex clerical support in SAP transactions, data entry, and documentation. This full-time role supports inbound/outbound shipments, production orders, and inventories, reporting to Logistics Manager with daily guidance from Supervisors.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of logistics/manufacturing experience, strong SAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel or MS Office.

Qualifications

Must have good knowledge of SAP transactions.
Must have working knowledge of Excel and/or other MS Office software.
Must be able to work independently yet able to work with other departments on procurement issues that arise, cross-functional teams, etc.
2-5 years minimum experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Review and complete recurring SAP transactions.
Monitor internal and external water levels.
Review and provide updates on sequence as needed.
Coordinate with Supervisors and Foreman to determine root cause for any discrepancies.
Ensure items are properly kitted and production orders are completed in a timely manner.
Coordinating daily inbound shipments for parcel, air freight, LTL, and truckload shipments.
Compiles and maintains records such as time, date, quantity, source and destination of materials received or kitted.
