Position Title

Logistics Coordinator (Ocean)

Overview

As a Logistics Coordinator focused on ocean exports, you'll take ownership of client relationships and shipments from booking through delivery, ensuring every detail is handled efficiently and proactively. Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000+ / Year DOE

Responsibilities

• Manage ocean export shipments from origin to destination
• Coordinate shipping documentation and transportation logistics
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Provide proactive shipment updates and maintain strong client communicationResolve shipment issues and customer concerns
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
• Manage billing and shipment‑related administrative tasks
• Monitor shipment progress and ensure on‑time delivery
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of ocean export logistics experience
• Experience working within freight forwarding or logistics environments
• Knowledge of ocean export operations, including containerized and roll‑on/roll‑off shipments

Preferred Qualifications

• Magaya experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Additional freight forwarding software experience
