Purple Wave Auction is seeking a Logistics Coordinator Tier I to support freight operations and serve as a bridge between departments, vendors, and customers. This entry-level role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and process discipline in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The position is based at our Purple Wave headquarters in Manhattan, KS, with standard hours 8 a.m.

to 5 p.m. Central Time, and opportunities to grow within the logistics career path.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of logistics and customer service preferred.
• Requires basic computer and internet skills.
• Spanish-speaking bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional customer service via phone to customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Use RMIS to onboard and manage carriers.
• Identify correct service providers for shipments and price services appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records in the quote log.
• Create contractual agreements between parties involved in the logistics process.
• Resolve shipping and contractual issues in a proactive and timely manner.
• Assist with phones as needed.
• Schedule load-out and delivery times.
