Job summary

Purple Wave Auction, based in Manhattan, KS, is seeking a Customer Service Associate Tier I to join a high-volume support team. You’ll handle chats, emails, calls, and in-person inquiries, educate bidders, and resolve issues with accuracy and care.

We offer full-time, hourly roles with flexible schedules within 7:00am–7:00pm, training, and growth into Tier II roles. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), life, disability, PTO, ESPP, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a professional office environment.
• Clear and effective multi-channel communication.
• Ability to de-escalate and provide solutions.
• Advanced data entry, technology, and computer software skills.
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to pass background check.
• Bilingual candidates in Spanish encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers by phone, email and in-person, chat, building rapport and positive relationships.
• Educate bidders on account details, auction processes, and terms and conditions.
• Address and resolve challenging customer interactions and escalate when needed.
• Process payments and sales tax questions, maintain accurate records.
• Support multiple systems and ensure high-quality data entry and documentation.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance customer experiences and help meet deadlines.
