Job summary

ESPEC North America, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator I to join our Shipping Department in Michigan. This role combines office and warehouse tasks, handling chamber shipments, preparing documents, and ensuring efficient carrier interactions.

You will use ERP, Word, Excel, and DYMO to process shipments, operate a forklift, and maintain a clean work area. A 4-day work week with overtime on Fridays and no mandatory weekend work are offered.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Computer skills including use of a tablet.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Experience using hand tools.
  • Forklift operation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Processes chamber/warranty shipments using the company ERP system and (UPS/FedEx) shipping programs.
  • Uses Microsoft Word and Excel to create the bill of lading, manifest, and packing slip for shipments.
  • Prepares USMCA, commercial invoice, and certificate of origin documents using existing template from the government or created by ESPEC.
  • Creates shipping labels using Microsoft Excel, Word, and DYMO program.
  • Processes shipments with selected carriers.
  • Operates a forklift to load and unload freight indoors and outdoors.
  • Cleans work area daily using broom, dustpan, etc.
  • Regular physical attendance is required.
  • Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Summary
Assists with the logistics of materials and environmental test chambers. The Logistics Coordinator I includes a combination of office and warehouse responsibilities.
