Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a transportation professional in El Paso, TX to support materials movement between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and customers. The role requires handling carriers, monitoring shipments, and expediting urgent requests with accuracy and customer focus.

Responsibilities include enforcing guidelines, reporting KPIs, addressing delivery issues, and supporting projects. Training and certification for material handling equipment is available as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure carriers follow guidelines in day-to-day operations based on Cardinal Health's policies and procedures.
• Freight monitoring and KPI reporting
• Expediting urgent shipping requests
• Handle customer complaints, investigate delivery issues and report outcome to internal Customer Service Group
• Provide guidance or technical assistance to organizational projects
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as requires by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
