Rome Logistics Group in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking an entry-level Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced team in a new North Carolina office.

You will coordinate shipments across North America, work with operations and sales, enter orders, track shipments, and help resolve issues to keep schedules on track. We value problem-solving, organization, and a willingness to grow; prior 3PL experience is a plus, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field or 1 year logistics/transportation experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to grow in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Freight Quoting: Obtain quotes from carriers, evaluate pricing, communicate costs, and assist in negotiating competitive rates.
• Order Entry: Accurately enter orders into the system and coordinate with sales and customer service to ensure order details are correct.
• Tracking Shipments: Monitor shipments using tracking systems and provide timely updates on status and ETA.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues with shipments or administrative processes, collaborating with the team to improve efficiency.
