Allen Lund Company is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator in Winchester, VA to drive daily freight brokerage operations. You’ll manage loads, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and work closely with Transportation Brokers in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment.

We fully train on our proprietary TMS; bring a tech-savvy mindset and a passion for exceptional customer service to thrive and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable with modern digital tools.
• Experience with AI tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail in load data and documents.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset.

Responsabilités

• Build loads and schedule pickup/delivery with vetted carriers.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to shippers and customers.
• Source and outreach to carriers about lane availability and capacity.
• Maintain compliance with insurance certificates and rate confirmations.
• Support branch accounting with invoices and digital payments.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you are the engine driving our daily freight brokerage operations. Working alongside our Transportation Brokers, you will manage active loads, leverage high-speed tech tools, and ensure our supply chains run without a hitch. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Master the Logistics Lifecycle: Efficiently build loads, schedule pickup/delivery appointments, and set up vetted carriers within our digital platforms.
• Keep Freight Moving: Proactively conduct update/check calls with carriers, track active shipments, and deliver real-time, critical updates to shippers and customers.
• Carrier Sourcing & Outreach: Build strong relationships with carriers by inquiring about lane availability, equipment types, and capacity.
• Maintain Compliance & Documentation: Ensure seamless record-keeping with exceptional attention to detail by requesting and verifying insurance certificates, handling rate confirmations, and keeping carrier resources updated.
• Streamline Operations & Finance: Support branch accounting by matching invoices, issuing Com-checks or Quick Pays, and leveraging digital tools to keep daily office workflows running smoothly.
• Deliver 5-Star Service: Uphold our company principles (Customer, Company, Office) by delivering high-touch customer support at every turn.

What You Bring to the Team
