Job summary

Cryoport Systems is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the Logistics Management team on a contingent basis. The role supports shipments, communications with carriers and clients, and daily revenue audits.

This remote position requires 2+ years in logistics or customer service, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and flexibility to work after hours or weekends as needed. You will help ensure accurate billing, onboarding new clients, and collaboration with Operations, Accounting, and Sales to

Responsibilities

• Monitor exceptions of live shipments and emails/portal alerts.
• Escalate issues to Logistics Managers and coordinate with carriers.
• Answer and route client and carrier communications; manage inbound calls.
• Onboard new clients and handle order entry and approvals.
• Perform daily revenue audits to capture shipment charges and fees.
• Collaborate with Finance and the Quote Team to identify missing charges and discrepancies.
• Ensure timely follow-up on revenue-related exceptions to improve billing accuracy.
• Interact with Operations, Accounting, Management, Sales and other internal teams.
• Complete administrative tasks and be prepared for other duties as assigned.

Job title: Logistics Coordinator (Contingent) Location: Remote from anywhere within the U.S. Hours: Shift Work, 8 AM - 5 PM PST (including weekends and PH)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Logistics Coordinator is part of the Logistics Management team, which is a subset of Cryoport’s Customer Service department. The Logistics Coordinator will report to one or more Logistics Managers and is responsible for alerting the logistics management team of any shipments with delays or other potential causes for concern, assisting with special projects, miscellaneous tasks as needed, and answering the logistics helpline to address or redirect calls.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitoring of exceptions of live shipments through Cryoport’s web portal and e‑mail notifications
• Escalating exceptions internally to Logistics Managers
• Answering and routing client and carrier communications internally
• External communications to carriers and clients throughout shipment
• Following up with written and verbal communication
• Managing inbound calls and redirecting to appropriate parties
• Onboarding new client
• Order entry and order approvals
• Perform daily revenue audits to ensure all applicable shipment charges, services, and additional fees are accurately captured.
• Collaborate with Finance and the Quote Team to identify and resolve missing charges, billing discrepancies, and potential revenue leakage.
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of revenue-related exceptions to support accurate billing and maximise revenue capture.
• General Regular interaction with internal departments such as Operations, Accounting, Management, Sales, etc.
