Job summary

Cryoport Systems, a leader in temperature-controlled life sciences logistics, is seeking a reliable Logistics Center Driver responsible for pick-up and delivery of dewars between the Logistics Center and client sites. You will follow routes, manage logs, and uphold safety and DOT compliance.

The role requires physical ability to lift 20–80 lbs, a valid driver's license, and a proven track record as a delivery driver.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift between 20-80 lbs.
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good driving record with no more than 2 traffic violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.

• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients complaints.
• Use Samsera Software to complete logs and reports required by SOP's.

• Perform other logistic center duties as assigned when necessary.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Logistics Center Driver will report to the Logistics Center Supervisor/Manager and will focus on the pick-up and delivery of Cryoport's temperature-controlled shippers (aka dewars) between Cryoport's Logistics Center and client locations. The Logistics Center Driver will responsibly and reliably transport items to and from destinations while maintaining all safety standards and good record keeping.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
• Follow routes and time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients complaints.
• Use Samsera Software to complete logs and reports required by SOP's.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ensure all traffic laws are observed.
• Create a team environment and culture.
• Ensure safety precautions are implemented and maintained during transit and while in the warehouse.
• Perform other logistic center duties as assigned when necessary.

Compensation: Up to $27/hr based on experience
