Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a 2nd shift coordinator in Rochelle, IL, to handle inbound/outbound shipments and manage driver assignments (Mon-Fri, 3PM-11:30PM). The role pays $16.97-$21.20 per hour depending on experience. You will log cash received by carriers, ensure documents are accurate, and input data into the WMS.

Required are basic math, strong communication, and computer skills (MS Office). You may work in cold or hot storage environments and lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills may be required at some facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20 F to 100 F in various storage environments.
• May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends when needed.
• Comfortable with noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and direct driver assignments including checking them in and assigning doors.
• Check out drivers once the load is complete.
• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to complete shipping/receiving documents.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
• Notify carriers of pending, no shows, or unscheduled arrivals.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
