Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Material Handler in Rochelle, IL to join a safety‑driven team in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. You will operate equipment, assist with loading, packing, and shipping, and help maintain accurate inventory records.

Weekly pay, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off start after 30 days. Second shift hours from 5:30 pm to 4:00 am with weekends off unless required, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
