Position: Logistics Coordinator 1

Location: Henrico, Virginia

What a typical day looks like:

• Check to ensure material was delivered correctly.
• Move pallets to holding areas and sort material by product type.
• Ensure the oldest material is delivered to receiving first. Package parts using established standards.
• Ensure travel cards remain with parts and labels, and route packages accordingly.
• Determine re-use condition of packaging and re-use per standards.
• Package material for shipment, ensuring accuracy of product and paperwork.
• Stock material on shelves, ensuring accuracy and neatness.
• Label problem parts and route to appropriate areas. Examine boxes/labels and enter product information into systems. May assist in training new employees.
• Keep work area clean and audit kits for accuracy.
• Perform tasks involved in the distribution flow of material, supplies, and equipment.
• Verify received goods against bills of lading, purchase orders, or other documents.
• Provide work leadership to other logistics associates; may serve as lead.
• Communicate with inspectors, buyers, production personnel, and materials groups.
