Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Union, OH to assist the Team Lead with prioritizing and assigning IC tasks to associates, and to support outbound by resolving order exceptions.

You will monitor inventory exceptions, prioritize and assign tasks, perform cycle counts and bin audits, and help solve inventory issues across the warehouse, while collaborating with teams to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of shipping/receiving experience preferred.

Assists the Team Lead with prioritizing and assigning IC tasks to associates. Supports outbound function by resolving order exceptions (e.g. missing parts, wave shortages, status 10s, etc.).

Main Job Duties:

• Resolve outbound order exceptions (e.g. missing parts, wave shortages, status 10s, etc.).
• Monitor inventory exceptions; prioritize and assign associates tasks as required.
• Perform direct tasks as needed (e.g. cycle counts, bin audits).
• Problem solve inventory exceptions across the warehouse.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. One (1) year of experience in shipping and/or receiving.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Strong communication skills. Excellent organizational capacity.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Research and analysis skills.
• Collaborative attitude.
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Comfort using common logistics management software (e.g. SAP, PKMS)
• Familiarity with best practices in inventory control.
• Ability to use data in making logistics more efficient.
• Strong customer service capabilities.
• Understanding of both warehouse and transportation management
