Logistics Coordinator

We value our community roots and are committed to timely service. Currently, we are seeking a Fuel Logistics Coordinator in Tampa, FL at our new distribution hub.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn to operate the SkyBitz route management system and other relevant systems.
- Provide administrative support for driver scheduling, delivery times, and route management.
- Create and prioritize schedules, manage customer orders and shipments.
- Support inventory processes for bulk gasoline, diesel, and biodiesel tanks.
- Source delivery orders with contract supply partners.
- Communicate with drivers, sales, customers, and management to ensure clarity and proper expectations.
- Reconcile Bills of Lading to verify delivery accuracy using SkyBitz Dispatch Planner and Inventory Work Bench.
- Coordinate equipment inspections and tests across fuel supplier terminals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient logistics operations.
- Maintain professional communication with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
- Experience in logistics dispatch or scheduling within multi-compartment fuel tanker transportation.
- Problem-solving skills under pressure, with sound judgment and discretion.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional demeanor in office settings.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Flexibility to work the required schedule.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Exposure to temperature extremes, noise, and weather conditions.
- Ability to perform tasks under distracting conditions.
- Effective oral communication with various stakeholders.
- Sitting for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
- Manual dexterity for office equipment and travel up to 100+ miles.
- Reasoning skills for business problem-solving and understanding financial/legal documents.
- Ability to work independently and in large groups, with potential travel as needed.
