Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in St. Louis, MO to interface with wholesalers, merchandisers, and warehouses. You will coordinate shipments, manage timelines with internal teams and vendors, and optimize pallet loading for efficient truck usage.

You will help centralize routing, evaluate KPIs, and present findings in management meetings to drive improvements in operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years professional or internship experience within Logistics/supply chain.
• Strong Excel experience (pivot tables & basic formulas).
• Excellent communication, personality, solution-oriented and drive.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (Sun-Thu 1PM-10PM) OR 1st shift (Mon-Fri 1PM-10PM).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the arrival and truck loading of product with wholesalers and warehouses.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to manage shipment timelines.
• Organize palettes to maximize truck utilization and minimize trips.
• Develop and execute plans to centralize and automate merchandiser routing.
• Present KPIs and actionable insights in management meetings.

Insight Global is looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to one of the leading Beverage companies globally, here in St. Louis, MO. It will be their job to work directly with wholesalers, merchandisers, and warehouses to understand their timelines and process for shipments. This person will coordinate the arrival and truck loading of product . They will work directly with internal teams and vendors to coordinate/manage the timelines for product deliveries and ensure that the product is arriving on time and going to the correct location. It will be their goal to organize the palettes so that they will have the fullest and fewest trucks as possible. The Logistics Coordinator will be helping to achieve the client's goal for centralizing and automating merchandiser routing, evaluating key performance indicators and developing/executing action plans to close gaps, and regularly engaging and presenting in meetings with management, assessing and addressing issues to implement improvements toward efficient operations.
