Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator keeps materials, equipment, and deliveries moving on an active job site, serving as the on-the-ground extension of the Procurement/Logistics Manager. This role owns the daily mechanics of site logistics — receiving, staging, inventory tracking, and delivery follow-up — and is the point of contact field crews turn to when they need materials or answers, and the eyes and ears the Procurement/Logistics Manager relies on when they can’t be on-site. This is an entry-level, hourly position well suited to someone early in their logistics or supply chain career who is organized, dependable, and eager to grow into broader procurement and logistics responsibility.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and move about an active construction site, and use hands to handle materials and equipment. Must be comfortable working outdoors and in a temporary/mobile job-site setting (trailer or tent).
This is an on-site, ground-up construction environment, not an office or warehouse setting. The site is in the early stages of development, so conditions will evolve as the project progresses. Breakfast and lunch are provided on site. This is a secure/confidential site: once on site for the day, employees may not leave and re-enter. Full-time, hourly, with the expectation of being on site every scheduled day. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The duties and responsibilities described above are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned as the scope of the position may change as necessitated by business demands.
