Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of logistics coordination experience, preferably in international freight operations.
• Hands-on experience in international ocean freight, air freight, and OTR transportation.
• Proven experience managing transload warehouse operations and truckload dispatch.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and freight documentation.
• Proficiency with SAP, TMS, WMS, ERP, or equivalent logistics systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Flexibility to support weekend operations when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain daily shipment tracking reports for ocean import, air export, and OTR operations.
• Monitor departures from U.S. ports, coordinate with terminal operators and customs brokers.
• Track ocean containers, rail intermodal, and air freight; verify IOD and POD; resolve exceptions.
• Oversee transload warehouse capacity, dwell time, on-time transloading, and bottleneck correction.
• Schedule and dispatch truckload outbound orders via a Transportation Management System; optimize routing and costs.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse teams, and customers.
• Manage shipment claims, documentation issues, delays, damages, and holds.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and hazardous materials standards; maintain records for audits.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operation Coordinator to support global transportation and supply chain operations, with a strong focus on international ocean freight, air freight, and over-the-road (OTR) transportation.

The successful candidate will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, monitor freight movements, manage transload warehouse operations, and collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling: Prepare and maintain daily shipment tracking reports for ocean import, air export, and OTR operations.
• Port & Terminal Coordination: Monitor shipment departures from U.S. ports, ocean terminals, and airports; coordinate schedules with terminal operators and customs brokers.
• Shipment Tracking: Track ocean containers, rail intermodal shipments, and air freight. Verify Import of Documentation (IOD) and Proof of Delivery (POD), and resolve shipment exceptions.
• Transload Warehouse Management: Monitor warehouse capacity, utilization, dwell time, on‑time transloading, and damage rates. Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Transportation Dispatch: Schedule and dispatch truckload outbound orders through a Transportation Management System (TMS). Optimize routing and load consolidation to meet service‑level agreements and control costs.
• Partner Communication: Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse teams, internal supply chain groups, and customers.
• Claims & Escalations: Manage shipment claims, documentation issues, delays, damages, and customs holds.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, hazardous materials requirements, and transportation security standards. Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
